Day 2 - Salt Lake - REAL Soccer Game

Today we slept in a little bit and then packed for about five days. We left around 1:00 to head to Salt Lake. We went straight to mine and Bryce's new apartment to see if we could turn in some papers but they were closed. Then we drove to our hotel and unpacked and hung out for a little bit. We took some pictures while we were waiting for the game.

"Sisters Forever"

One Happy Couple

"Surprise"

The best thing about having a brother, I always have a friend.

A mother holds her children's hand for a while, their hearts . . forever.

Happy Two-gether

He's been promoted to my big brother.

After we took some pictures we decided to go and eat at Panda Express.

Then we went up to the gates to see where we were suppose to get our tickets but they said we had to go back around to the other side. Dad and Sky went to get them so we decided to look around a little bit. They had lots of games to play close by so we headed over that way. We got some wrist bands just for walking by this one game and then Bryce decided to see if he could throw the soccer ball into the basket.

He tried twice but all he ended up with was a KFC hat.

The mascots brought out the flags.

Excited for the soccer game to start.

It was so nice to have a big screen to watch the game on too.

At half time, Dad, Britt and Bryce went up to get a drink. Meanwhile, the crowd started passing a flag around so Skyler and I helped it along.

This was pretty unique.

The final score for the game was 2 to 0 for REAL. There were 17,730 people at the REAL soccer game.

We didn't hurry right out because we knew we would have to wait for quite a while to get on the road. We hooked up Lola, our GPS, and tried to head back to our hotel. There was a lot of construction plus a lot of people. It was pretty funny because every road Lola told us to go on had construction. We felt like we were never going to get back to the hotel. Finally Britt piped up and said, look that's where we parked for the game. We all laughed pretty hard. Dad couldn't believe that we had drove around in circles for about a half hour. We were also looking for a Sub Way so we could get some sandwiches for tomorrow so we didn't have to go and buy anything on Sunday, but by the time we found one, they had just closed. Just our luck! We went to a Walmart and bought some sandwiches there and some other snacks for our lunch tomorrow. We finally made it back to the hotel and just sat around and watched some TV and then went to bed.
