Bryce and I try to make it up to Logan about once a month to see my family. It's so hard only seeing them once a month, but when we see each other we make that time count. This month we weren't sure if we were going to get the chance to see them, but on Friday my mom called to let us know that they were going to be in Provo to get a few things fixed with Skyler's car. After talking with Bryce we decided this would be a perfect time to see my family, we would get to save ourselves about 2 hours of a drive which was nice! We left about 8 am Saturday morning and met my family at Skyler's dorm. Since all of his roommates were asleep, (mind you it was 11:00) we decided to hang out in the common room downstairs for an hour while we waited for the car to be fixed.

Yes, we did fit 6 people on this tiny couch!!!

My amazing parents! Bryce and I appreciate everything they do for us and love them so much!!!

Two of my role models!

All that waiting apparently started taking it's toll on us.

Mother and Son
To pass the time we decided to play in a very intense, very close game of Foosball. The boys barely pulled ahead!

After Foosball we decided to have a Ping-Pong tournament. The girls played first and the winner moved on... Good Job Britt!

Next it was the boys' turn. Bryce won by a hair, sorry Sky, but now you get to play Shelynne.

This game was pretty close, but Skyler won 15-13.

Skyler trying to teach me how to properly hit the ball.

Me, confused as to why I keep losing. Maybe if I concentrated more and talked less the results might have been different.

As you can see I did not like the results of our tournament. Shelynne- Ultimate Loser, Skyler- Bronze, Brittanee- Silver, Bryce- GOLD!!

Good thing I still love them, even after they all beat me.
After playing Ping-Pong, we picked up the car, dropped it off at Jiffy Lube and went for lunch at Applebees. It's a good thing this picture turned out so well because the waiter who took it said he was going to charge $5 for his picture taking services.

After lunch we went back to BYU and went bowling for an hour before we had to leave.

Sheldon Wilcox
AKA: Stud Muffin
Ht: 5'10"
Shoe Size: 9
Bowling Technique: Walk 3 steps forward, throw the bowling ball, then hop 3 times (trying not to fall over) as you watch the ball hit all the pins down

Diana Wilcox
AKA: Mamacita
Ht: 5'4" and 3/4 (don't short her the 3/4)
Shoe Size: 5 1/2
Bowling Technique: Take 5 steps forward, throw the ball as high as you can in the air, watch as it pounds the ground and knocks all the pins down.

Bryce Carter
AKA: Leash
Ht: 5'9"
Shoe Size: 9 1/2
Bowling Strategy: On the first turn, aim for pin # 10 (the hardest pin) and avoid hitting all the other pins. On the second turn aim for the remaining pins.

Shelynne Carter
AKA: Shaneequa
Ht: 5'2"
Shoe Size: 4
Bowling Technique: Take 3 steps forward, then reverse and take 3 steps backward, try again this time taking 2 big steps, 5 baby steps, then 1 more big step. If it looks like you are going to hit a lot of pins down start riding your horse.

Skyler Wilcox
AKA: Skyler Rama
Ht: 5'8"
Shoe Size: 9
Bowling Strategy: On the first turn aim for the gutter and avoid all pins. On the second turn knock all 10 pins down resulting in a spare rather than a strike, but don't be alarmed (this is what you want to do).

Brittanee Wilcox
AKA: Blondie
Ht: 5'2"
Shoe Size: 5
Bowling Strategy: Trick everyone into thinking you aren't competition by bowling two gutter balls in the first round. Then slowly bowl spares until you slowly become a competitor and give everyone a run for their money.
As you can see, when we began the game my parents both stepped up and knocked all 10 pins down. This was followed by at least one gutter ball by each of the children following. My parents were flabbergasted, and couldn't figure out how THEY (two excellent bowlers), produced not 1, not 2, not even 3, but 4 horrible bowlers (even the "in-law" inherited this bad bowling trait.) Fortunately for them us "bad bowlers" got better throughout the game, we just needed a little warm up, that's all.
