Kinect

We went up north to spend Presidents Day with my family. My family got kinect for Christmas and Bryce and I had still not played it yet. It is so much fun!!! We played so many different games and by the end we were exhausted!!!
This was actually after a boxing fight.
I am pretty sure I won this round.

Then we played beach volleyball. It was pretty fun.

Track and Field was next. We laughed pretty hard.

I can't remember what game this was but it looks like
we are concentrating pretty hard.

We went and got some frozen yogurt from Twizl Berry.
It was Yummy!

Then we decided to play Go Fish. My mom gave this game to Bryce because he said he had only played it once and that was at the Christmas Party. The first game I barely got any matches but the next game I cleaned house. Every time I asked for a card I got it and every time I drew I got a match. Nine matches in a row... this can't be luck!!

What a fun night!

We laughed and had a great time!

Birthday Surprise

I have the best husband in the world. He knows how much I love surprises, and my birthday was definitely full of surprises!!

I woke up to breakfast in bed (eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, fruit, and apple juice) yum!! We had to go to classes, but he was waiting for me after one of my classes and picked me up for lunch. After lunch I had one more class, but when I got home I had a dozen roses waiting for me on the table. They were gorgeous! After lunch we relaxed for a few hours, played some games, and then it was time for dinner. We decided to go to Applebees, because today was the only day that my actual birth date would be on the We ID sign.
In celebration of my 21st birthday we decided to get a strawberry daiquiri to share. Although I was legal now, we got it nonalcoholic.
Of course, you can't go to a restaurant on your birthday and not be embarrassed. Bryce told the waitress it was my birthday and a few minutes later everyone was crowded around my table signing as loudly as they possibly could. I think my face was as red as my drink!!
After dinner, Bryce told me to close my eyes because he had one more surprise for me. He drve all over Cedar City, until he finally stopped. I had to close my eyes until we were walking in the door of my apartment. I was so confused until we turned on the lights and everyone yelled surprise. He had planned a surprise birthday party with our families for me. Isn't he the sweetest? Anyway, my family got stuck in traffic and so it was just his family for a little while. I think the best surprise of the night was when my family showed up. It was totally unexpected, because it was about 9 pm, but I was so excited I started jumping up and down. Thank goodness my mom took pictures of the night, because I was too excited to remember!

The first gift my family gave me was a bag with all the things
I could do now that I was 21.
There was a root beer, dice, poker chips and party blowers.

The cake my family brought with them. I don't know how it was still in one piece. My family said my mom was driving kinda crazy to make it to the party in time :)

I had a couple helpers to blow out the candles.

Some of My Gifts

Bryce gave me a full body massage and my aunts went in together and bought a facial, sugar scrub and pedicure for me. In total it was about 4 hours I would get to spend at the spa pampering myself. What an amazing husband and family I have.

Thank you everyone. It was an amazing birthday!!!

The day after my birthday my family and I wanted to do something outside because it was such a nice warm day. We decided to have a picnic and go for a hike. We grabbed some Subs and KFC and off we went. We found a nice park with a trail that we hiked.

Stalker

Okay, so stalker probably isn't the best word, but Bryce and I are OBSESSED with SUU gymnastics. We have attended every one of their home meets, including their first meet against UCLA the 5 time national champion. This meet was incredible! I have never seen the Centrum so packed before in my life. They said there was over 5,000 people in attendance. To make the meet even better, we beat UCLA by less than 5 tenths of a point.
This last meet was the breast cancer awareness meet. Because of this, there were people at every door selling raffle tickets where the money would be used for breast cancer research. We bought one ticket and then stuffed it into our pocket and almost forgot about it until they started the raffle halfway through the meet. They were giving away shirts and things from the SUU bookstore. Eventually they came to restaurants in Cedar. When they announced a $25 gift certificate to Mi Pueblo (a place Bryce and I ate at for one of our dates and weren't too fond of it), Bryce said "watch, this will be our ticket number." My husband must be a psychic because sure enough they called our ticket number. I guess we will be going there to try something new in the near future.

Anyway, did I mention how much we love gymnastics meets?!? We are addicted, and it definitely helps that we have an amazing team! Go Flippin Birds!!!
