Graduation

After sleepless nights studying, excruciatingly painful tests, and hundreds of dollars spent on books that were never opened, we finally did it! We graduated from college!!! It was one of the best weekends of my life :) My family drove down Friday to help us celebrate. Here are a few of the many gifts we received.

Since I am a horrible wife and won't allow Bryce to get a dog, my mom bought him this little stuffed animal dog because that is all that I will allow in the house for now.
Remember this GPS, it will come in handy later!!!

Mr. and Mrs. Carter, College Graduates
My brother wanted to play the Thunderstruck song as we walked across the podium. We decided it would be better for him to play it for us in the hotel room instead.

After all the waiting we finally got to move our tassels.

It was awesome to be able to graduate with my husband and amazing sister-in-law. The best part was that we all graduated in the college of science so we only had to attend one ceremony!!!

Just a little sibling love!

Our amazing families that were there to support us through it all. We couldn't have done it without their love and support.

The best grandma in the world!!!
After the ceremony we went out to eat at the Pizza Factory. We had such a large group, but luckily we were able to find a place that would accomodate all of us after an hour's wait.

So I have probably already mentioned this about a hundred times, but I have the most amazing mother in the world. Saturday morning we woke up, my sister curled all my hair, and we went around campus and did a photo shoot. I love my amazing family.

My dad was getting a little sick of all the kissing pictures, and he finally expressed this emotion in this picture :)

Thanks to my sister for doing my hair, my mom for taking all the pictures, my dad for being the chauffeur and selecting some of the backgrounds of the photo shoot, and my brother and grandma for their support, we were able to have an amazing photo shoot and get some great pictures.

After the photo shoot it was finally time for the Saturday ceremony where we got to walk across the stage and get our diplomas.

Can't wait for this to be over so we can really celebrate!!!

Bryce, on the other hand, was a little more excited!

Bryce E. Carter Bachelor of Science Biology

Finally finished
My amazing parents. I don't know where I would be without them.
It is really great to graduate,
But it's even better doing it together!

All of our supporters!

Unfortunately after the ceremony my dad had to leave to check on the flood. The Blackfoot river behind our house is really high and after having my uncle check our pump, my dad decided he needed to be home just in case the power went out and he needed to hook up the generator for the pump to keep working.

Afterwards we had a big dinner at Hillary's parents house and then we went back to the hotel and spent some time together. First, we had a race to see who could maneuver the Swedish fish from their forehead to their moutht the fastest.

All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother. Happy Mothers Day to the most amazing women I know!

  1. Wow. You sure know how to make me cry. And I was doing so good until I got to the very end. A mother can only be amazing when she has children like the ones I have. We are so proud of you and Bryce. Watch our world, here come the Carters.
