Tarzan

For Jesse's birthday, Bryce and I went with the family to St. George to see Tarzan at the Tuacahn. This was the first time I'd ever been and it was so cool because the theater is outside. We really enjoyed the play and had a lot of fun together.

Tarzan and Jane, we don't have a child to be our monkey yet :)

Deklan loved taking a picture being Tarzan so much he talked Bryce into being a cat as well.

After the show Shawn, Lindsey and Deklan got to take a picture with Tarzan, Jane and younger Tarzan. The younger Tarzan had an amazing voice! Such a cute little boy!!!

A Day to Ourselves

Since Monday was a holiday and Bryce didn't have to work we were able to spend an entire day with each other. It was a miracle and we took advantage of the opportunity by spending the day in St. George.
We packed some sandwiches, chips, and treats and went to the park in St. George for a picnic.

After lunch we went shopping at the mall.
We were able to get 3 Aero shirts and 6 lotions and shower gels from Bath and Body Works for $2. We are very frugal shoppers!
After shopping we went to the coolest miniature golf I have ever seen!
Bryce was pretty puzzled about the course because it was in the dark!

This picture was for our nephew Trevy. He absolutely loves Spiderman.
Bryce was losing so he got sent to jail.
I had my chance to win, but I blew it on this course.
We stood right in front of the dots, but after you shot the ball towards the hole you had to walk through the maze to find the end. I hit a lot of dead ends.

The next whole was the 7 wonders of the world.

After golfing we came back to Cedar, ate at the Pizza Factory, watched Avatar, then watched the fireworks.

We had a great time spending the entire day with each other.

4th of July Weekend

For the fourth, Bryce and I went to Logan to see my family and attend the Wood Family Reunion. The reunion is held at Camp Lomia up Logan Canyon. We had a blast playing games, getting to know new relatives, and spending time with family.

During the day, our family played a lot of different sports (volleyball, football, baseball, soccer) unfortunately this is the only picture we have to show that.

One of the popular Wood Family traditions is the Sawdust Hunt. They separate the kids into different age groups and then let them search through the sawdust for candy and coins.

This year they let the newly married couples play as well.

The gang with our "treasures." Bryce and I found $15 in the sawdust hunt.

Another Wood Family tradition is the Duck Race.

Brittanee's duck placed 3rd in the first race and 1st in the second raceOur ducks didn't place

But we still had fun

For dessert one night we had strawberry shortcake . Carissa really enjoyed hers.
